Charity Sites to Visit Every Day:
love the Power Glove. It's so bad."
Update as of Wednesday, January 17th 2007:
After not updating in forever, my site randomly went down. Awesome! I may have to switch hosting soon...hosters are getting more and more competitive these days, and I pay too much money to go down for no reason, thankyouverymuch.
Anyway, sorry for the hiatus--2006 was a very difficult year, and at times I was so busy that website updating was nothing but a far-fetched dream. I've updated the Works page (new project and comments on some of the old ones) and am in the middle of re-launching Sleep is for the Weak (PG-13), which also recently went down. I suppose that's what I get for not handling web work well. *sigh* In the future, if any of my pages go down or there's an unusually long pause between updates, my work livejournal is a good place to check for news.
Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the delay. I'll be back on March 1st with another project announcement, among other things.
Update Schedule: Next Update is 03/01/07
You know you haven't updated in a while when your mom e-mails you about it. Er, sorry, Mommy.
After jumping around from Toronto, to the States, to Syria, to Toronto, to the States, and back to Syria (for the upcoming month of July), I'm finally settling in Connecticut from approx August 2006 to August 2007. Thank God! My body is deteriorating from the moving and travel. That also means I can start updating regularly again, since my eMac gets to stay on a desk that I can access for an entire calendar year. Hooray for settling down!
I'm happy to say I'm now adapting two more manga series for Tokyopop--Rave Master (from Volume 20 on) and Fruits Basket (from Volume 15 on). I have at least one more and possibly many more projects for Tokyopop coming up before 2006 ends, so I'll update with information when I get it. The Works page has been updated with more info on all the new work jazz.
In other news, I'm now a full-time grad student who's rediscovering her hate for molecular orbital theory, and I'm back to taking random part-time jobs (lab monkey, tutor, caretaker of angry pets). After a disastrous spring semester filled with missing deadlines and awkward academic papers, I'm getting my act together so as to rebuild my credibility. Here's a piece of advice, kids--don't compulsively accept jobs and sign up for too many classes, because you'll eventually have all assignments due on the exact same day. Also, don't read comic books when you have work to do.
Although I've mentioned this before, my livejournal now only focuses on my professional work and anime/manga/geek stuff, so little updates between updates of this webpage can be found there. Any personal entries (for friends) I used to post on my livejournal have instead been moved to my blog.
I won't be in America in July, and I probably won't have anything to report in August, so my next update will be September 1st. From that point on I'll reinstate my policy of updating on the first of every month. For the three of you who care! (read: my mother and two people who accidentally came here from Google)
