Volume 8, Final Act (Act 28)

I couldn't possibly summarize this chapter without ruining the end of the series. For those of you who need a little something to ease the wait for the final volume's English release, highlight the white text below:

Minor spoilers:

Tatsuki's life is in Kotarou's hands, and Kotarou is determined to save him...even if it may cost them both everything.

Major spoilers (READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!):

Completely unintentionally, Kotarou kills Tatsuki. Kotarou uses all of his impressive psychic ability to try and heal Tatsuki, but it involves transferring all his ESP into his newly-dead cousin. The process screws the both of them up pretty bad, and Udou and Kiba take them off to recover. Both Tatsuki and Kotarou survive the ordeal, but when they return to school a short time later, Yuuto notices some shocking changes in the two of them...it's a happy ending, but you'll need to read Volume 8 to see the interesting aftermath of Kotarou's sacrifice. Probably the most delightful piece of the ending is the final panel--for the first time ever, Tatsuki really smiles.
