Amateur Author Dedications "Every
artist was first an amateur." Update as of Monday, June 23rd, 2003: I'm so sorry this page hasn't been updated in so long! Unfortunately, the recent problem/shutdown of my hotmail account and years of stockpiling resulted in my losing TONS of old e-mails and some Amateur Author submissions. After that, and considering how many years it's been since I've reviewed works, I'm starting the slate for submissions clean. If you ever sent me a piece of work for consideration and you never received an acceptance or a rejection, please submit again as I will no longer be reviewing old submissions. I'm so sorry! On the plus side, nobody has to send the same piece twice--if you've written something better since you last submitted (I'm guessing most of you have), submit that instead. With this clean slate I should be able to get my files organized and send this page back up off the ground. Just remember my e-mail's changed to liannesentar@yahoo.com, no hotmail or aol anymore. If you read the directions page you'll notice I'm not accepting any submissions at the moment (too busy), but if you're one of those people who submitted once and need to submit again I'm making an exception--you may submit now if you like. Again, sorry for the inconvenience! I hope to have the next Dedication up in the fall. Current

Talent on the Web
Ever since I first starting reading fanfiction back in my freshman year of high school (1996 or so), I've come to realize that there are many writers online who display remarkable talent through the outstanding quality of their fanfiction and/or original stories. Becoming a part of the fanfiction community online got me addicted to writing in the first place, not to mention led to my getting published; fanfiction is an excellent avenue for ambitious writers, and the potential of fanfic writers is largely overlooked. This webpage is for the talented amateur writers out there who deserve more press. Please enjoy the sections dedicated to each author, and please remember to e-mail them and tell them what you think of their work and their ability, because, as we all know, an amateur writer's pay is praise.
